Healthy Attachment equals Healthy Detachment
Relationships, whether work-related, family, or friends, are complex and often we find ourselves inextricably connected to someone. It could be your best friend, your co-worker, or your spouse. When it comes to relationships, balance your attachment with clear boundaries. Respect that your perspective may be influenced by your connection, however, your individual identity is still intact. Do not lose yourself in any relationship. Recognize that it is a fluid experience, that waxes and wanes at varying degrees of interaction and interdependency. Learn from the relationship more about yourself, and the way you interact best with others.
#PrincipleFive: Listen and learn from every experience and the people with whom you interact.
