There’s a lot written about Fear, and most of it’s bad. However, I believe fear is a good thing. Fear can warn us when we are about to do something harmful, and it can also warn us when we are about to do something hugely beneficial. Change is scary, and all growth comes with change. We know our own personal growth fuels our success, yet sometimes it is difficult. Embrace your fears, face them and they can become a great asset. #PrincipleNine of The Tao of Nia: Embrace fear and recognize its benefits.
Write at least one thing in your journal that you have always wanted to accomplish, but are afraid to try. Next to it, write the reasons you are afraid. Fear of failing? Fear of succeeding? Fear of commitment? Your reasons for being afraid will be the tools that will help you strengthen your weaknesses. Examining your fear will give you insight to what’s holding you back. Tackle that fear head on with a dose of knowledge, and a plan for how you can conquer it.
